Jesus for President

which is a great book, by the way.  So anyway--yeah- what she said- Jesus for President: Declaring Independence from Partisan Politics by Becky Garrison. 
Maybe it's a little long, but it's well worth the read.  Pretty much sums up how I feel.

Happy 4th.  We are having the chicks in my  small group and their families over for some hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill, board games, slips and slides, and lots and lots of fire crackers. Oh, and some jammin' Guitar Hero battles. T-bone has thrown down the gauntlet, and I plan to kick his sorry white @ss.
